Roblox Crash Strategy: The Math Behind Cashouts
Auto cashout at 1.5x or hold for 10x? Here is the actual math on Roblox crash strategies.
Crash looks simple — cash out before it crashes. But the cashout multiplier you choose dramatically affects your long-run results.
The math
On a fair crash game, your expected return is roughly: (cashout multiplier) × (chance multiplier is reached). A 2x auto-cashout hits roughly 50% of the time; net result ~1.0x your bet long run. A 10x auto-cashout hits ~10% of the time; same long-run result. The house edge is built into the rare instant-crash rounds.
Low cashouts (1.3x-1.7x)
Most consistent growth. Hit rates around 65-75%. Boring but effective for bankroll preservation.
Medium cashouts (2x-3x)
The sweet spot for most players. Balances hit rate with payout size. Tilt level: low-medium.
High cashouts (5x+)
For the thrill. Do not use as a long-run strategy. Hit rates drop below 20%.
The doubling trap
After a loss, people instinctively want to bet bigger to "win it back". Do not. Keep bets flat. The variance will catch up eventually.
